Bağlaçlar ve Cümle Bağlama

Kural: iki soruyu birlikte sor

Sınavda bağlaç sorusu çözerken tek bir kelimenin anlamını bilmek yetmez. Her bağlaç iki bilgi taşır:

İkinci soru şıkları elemenin en hızlı yolu. Aynı anlamı taşıyan üç kelime, farklı yapı istediği için yalnızca biri boşluğa uyar:

Boşluğun arkasına bak: özne + fiil varsa bağlaç, isim öbeği varsa edat, nokta ya da noktalı virgül varsa zarf gelir.

due to klasik olarak be fiilinden sonra gelir (The delay was due to…), because of ise daha serbesttir. Sınavda ikisi genelde eşdeğer kabul edilir.

Devrik yapı gerektirenler — sınavın gözdesi
